Susan Owen | Chief Executive Officer

With a sharp eye for crafting vibrant brands, Susan blends her 30+ years of cross-industry experience with a genuine passion for delivering tangible business results. As one of the founding members of The Point Group almost three decades ago, Susan possesses an insider’s understanding of agency dynamics, coupled with a strategic approach that ensures client satisfaction. Outside of her responsibilities as CEO of The Point Group, Susan is also as co-founder of Berkshire Biomedical, where she serves as Vice Chairman. Further, her experience within the Texas banking industry stands as testament to Susan’s leadership across industries during her career. Away from brand launches and business-building, Susan cherishes moments spent with her family. A 1986 graduate of Texas State with a BBA in Finance, Susan has actively contributed to the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2003, holding various leadership positions on its board.

J Frederick | VP, Executive Creative Director

A veteran writer, award-winning creative director, and 20-year agency owner, J takes a strategic, consultative approach to solving clients’ problems. Whether generating brand awareness, impressions or conversions, he takes pride in creating a unique brand voice for each of our client partners. He has teamed up names like Methodist Health and Mel Renfro, Verizon and Jim Belushi, Northern Tool and Red Dead Redemption, and Whole Foods and Amazon.

Ann Rimkus | Executive Vice President

As our lead strategist and resident profiler, Ann applies the decades she’s spent studying consumer behaviors and media consumption patterns to artfully craft and execute marketing campaigns. Ann loves a puzzle and is second to none in figuring out how to get the right message to the right audience in the right way. She has a deep connection to the hospitality, luxury and real estate sectors, having worked closely with clients such as Marriott International, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Cadillac over the course of her career.

Ruth Baron | Sr. VP Healthcare Marketing

Ruth leads our health care services division. She possesses over 25 years of experience delivering a wide range of marketing communications to clients on the provider, payer and technology sides of health care, including Baylor Health Care and Texas Health Resources. While her bachelor’s degree in design and journalism have earned her an honorary art director’s card, it’s her experience as a former business owner and expertise in the health care market that distinguish her leadership.

Nancy St. Pierre | VP Public Relations

As a former reporter, Nancy has a deep understanding of how the news media operates and what captures reporters’ attention. Her journalism background, paired with marketing and public relations expertise, drives her passion to elevate brands to achieve business results for clients. Nancy’s creative and strategic approach takes a holistic view of how PR can help brands capture the hearts and minds of their customers. She adds depth to our portfolio of Hospitality, Health Care, Technology, and Business to Business accounts. Her breadth of business experience includes consumer packaged goods, technology, transportation, travel and theme parks.

Blake Hodge | Sr. Director Marketing and Client Services

A trailblazer in the hospitality industry, Blake brings extensive experience with 30 brands in the sector including renowned names such as Sephora, Gatorade, Apple, and Brinker International. With a keen focus on client service excellence, Blake crafts vibrant customer engagement programs and precision-targeted strategies. Drawing from her diverse background, Blake consistently delivers impactful solutions that resonate with clients and customers alike. Whether it’s conceptualizing innovative loyalty programs or devising comprehensive plans, she is at the forefront of driving customer acquisition, retention, and solution maximization initiatives. As a dynamic leader, she inspires and empowers marketing teams to excel in both traditional and digital arenas. Her exceptional talent for making strategic decisions, fostering consensus, and setting a clear vision positions her to take The Point Group clients to new heights.

Nate Smith | Digital Creative Director

Concerned not just with profit, but purpose; Nate is a W3 and AVA Digital award-winning creative, front-end developer, entrepreneur, digital content creator and music producer with an intense passion for UX/UI design, photography, voice over, storytelling, film, music, and people. He’s had the honor of working across a staggering number of verticals, helping to craft big brands while also finding fulfillment alongside the not-so-big. His focus has been strategically building fully integrated campaigns that resonate across multiple mediums and result in increased consumer engagement and conversion. Client work includes Disney, Jockey, Jack Black, Which Wich, Walmart, The DMN, NBC 5, Albertsons, SportClips, and The American Heart Association.

Donna Lassen | CFO

Our financial engineer and go-to expert when modeling business plans for clients, Donna knows digits like nobody’s business. Her three decades of experience in a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology and health care, translates into our being able to lend clients a valuable perspective as it relates to the financial strength of companies in a variety of stages, be it a start-up, turn-around situation, corporate roll-up or re-positioning.
