About the Role

Point is looking for a hands-on Digital Content Creator to join Point Studios, our in-house creative production team. You’ll shoot and edit video, turn existing footage into social content, support podcast production, and create supporting graphics for a variety of client brands.

You should be comfortable capturing content on an iPhone or camera and taking raw footage through editing to a finished piece. You’ll work alongside senior creatives who provide direction and feedback, while independently handling assigned edits and content projects.

Video production and editing are central to this role. Graphic design skills will help you round out the work.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot and edit video: Capture content in the studio and on location, and edit footage shot by you or other team members into finished videos.
• Create social content: Produce Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and other platform-specific content, including captions, graphics, music, and audio.
• Repurpose existing footage: Turn interviews, client shoots, and longer videos into focused clips tailored to different audiences and channels.
• Support podcast production: Assist with recording, edit audio and video episodes, and pull compelling moments for promotional clips.
• Create supporting graphics: Develop thumbnails, social graphics, digital ads, and occasional website graphics using established brand guidelines.
• Collaborate on production: Contribute ideas and assist with equipment setup, lighting, audio, and other shoot needs.
• Keep projects moving: Organize footage and project files, manage deadlines, incorporate feedback, and prepare content for publishing.

What You’ll Bring

• A portfolio showing hands-on video creation and editing experience.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable editing software.
• The ability to independently turn raw footage into a finished video with clear storytelling, thoughtful pacing, clean audio, and appropriate graphics.
• Experience shooting with smartphones, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, or similar equipment, plus a basic understanding of framing, lighting, and audio.
• Familiarity with social media video formats, platform requirements, and content trends.
• Working knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar graphic design tools.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to respond thoughtfully to creative feedback.

We’re looking for approximately one to three years of relevant experience. Internship, freelance, and personal content creation work count. Education in a related field is welcome; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Experience with podcast production, social scheduling tools, basic digital layouts, or AI-assisted creative tools is a plus.

We want to see how you select footage, tell a story, pace an edit, and use captions and sound. Podcast samples and graphic design work are welcome as additional examples.

Applications must include video editing examples. A graphic design portfolio alone won’t meet this role’s requirements.

Location, Compensation & Benefits

This position requires working in our Plano, Texas, office and supporting studio and on-location shoots.
