08.17.06 | TRANSFIRST and Professional Economics Bureau of America Provide Integrated Payment Processing for XLDent™ Practice Management Users

Fully integrated state-of-the-art technology will enable users to seamlessly process credit card and ACH transactions from their XLDent™ system

DALLAS and LORETTO, MN (August 16, 2006) — TRANSFIRST Health Services, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRANSFIRST HOLDINGS, INC., a leading provider of credit card processing services and payment enabling technologies, and Professional Economics Bureau of America, Inc (PEB), a respected dental software developer serving over 1,000 dentists, today announced a partnership that will provide customers of PEB’s XLDent™ Practice Management System with fully integrated payment processing capabilities. The new service linking the TRANSFIRST TRANSACTION CENTRAL™ system to the XLDent™ system dramatically improves current traditional stand-alone POS terminal processing systems, increasing efficiency in handling patient payments at the time of service, and in recurring scenarios. Staff in the dental office can process credit card and ACH payments without leaving their XLDent™ system, with the added features of auto-posting payments to patient records and accounting ledgers. Users will realize productivity and work flow gains through this integration.

The new service combines TRANSFIRST’s processing capabilities for credit card and ACH, manual and automatic recurring payments, and custom report generation with the XLDent™ Practice Management System. Utilizing one system, XLDent’s customer functionality will include patient information, financial ledger, reporting, scheduling, diagnostics, advanced imaging, treatment plans, patient education, billing, and now credit card and ACH payment processing. XLDent™ users will no longer have to move outside of their system to handle a credit card or ACH payment via a stand alone terminal, wait for a dial-up response, then re-key that information back into their own system for updates to the patient file and accounting ledger; transactions will be entered into the system and the payment response from TransFirst will post directly into XLDent™ eliminating the need for redundant data entry.
