08.09.05 | eCommLink and TRANSFIRST Form Alliance to Expand Merchant ePayment Services

Agreement will give both companies access to new epayment retail and financial channels

HOUSTON, August 9, 2005 – eCommLink, a leading provider of open platform applications for stored value and debit transactions, announced today that it has entered into a service agreement with TRANSFIRST, one of the nation’s premier providers of transaction processing services and payment enabling technologies. Under the agreement, TRANSFIRST will provide processing for on-line merchant accounts, allowing eCommLink to offer significantly greater epayment processing volume to financial institutions and third-party issuers of debit and stored value cards.

eCommLink’s enterprise payment platform permits a broad range of stored value loading and disbursement options via a wireless device, ATM, employer, or home computer. TRANSFIRST’s epayment merchant application will allow on-line businesses to more quickly and efficiently coordinate all aspects of order capture, fulfillment and merchant services. “Through this agreement, TRANSFIRST is strengthening eCommLink's payment industry position with on-line merchants,” said Grace Chen, CEO of eCommLink. “At the same time, we are providing TRANSFIRST with new access to stored value and debit transactions with their on-line vendors.”
