Ron Sodoma is president of the Processing Bank Division for TRANSFIRST. With more than 17 years of leadership experience, he is responsible for the company's product and project management activities as well as growing its Value Added Reseller (VAR) relationships.

Prior to joining TRANSFIRST, Mr. Sodoma was Bank of America's Regional Executive for Business Deposit and Treasury Management Services in the Pacific Northwest.

At Bank of America, he also led the national Merchant Services Team and chaired the e-Payments strategy group. Mr. Sodoma was CEO for start-up, technology application service provider, PointB2B, Inc., where he developed a new e-Business model to support Internet-based B2B procurement capabilities. Mr. Sodoma's leadership development began with an Officer Commission in the United States Marine Corps where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class and was honorably discharged after seven years of service at the rank of Major.

Mr. Sodoma holds an International MBA from the University of South Wales in Sydney, Australia, where he also participated in an academic exchange program to ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Additionally, he earned a Graduate Certificate in Electronic Commerce from Loyola University, Chicago as well as a bachelor of science in Aviation Science from St. Louis University. Mr. Sodoma's additional postgraduate studies include research and lecture work in new business ventures and negotiations at Harvard University.
