Andrew Rueff, TRANSFIRST’s
senior vice president for corporate development, joined the company
in February 2000 and was a key player in the successful recapitalization
of ACS Merchant Services that established TRANSFIRST
as an independent, private company. Based in the company’s
executive offices in Dallas, Mr. Rueff is primarily responsible
for growing TRANSFIRST‘s
business through strategic portfolio and company acquisitions,
and for managing TRANSFIRST’s
legal affairs.
Mr. Rueff has substantial experience in negotiating
mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining TRANSFIRST,
he served as vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Atlanta-based
transaction processing company Nova, and before that, he played
critical legal and financial roles in the structuring and financing
of more than 30 transactions in the banking, healthcare and transaction
services markets.
Mr. Rueff, a Tennessee-native, earned his undergraduate
degree and his master’s of business administration from
the University of Tennessee. Mr. Rueff also holds a law degree
from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
